Insight with Bishop Williams

Bishop Eric Williams was born in the year of 1960 at W.C Tenry Hospital in Waxahachie, Texas to the parents of Verda B. & R.C. Williams. He attended all grade levels in the Waxahachie Independent School District. Mr. Williams graduated in 1979 and thereafter moved to Dallas, Texas to further his education. In Dallas is where he attended the Lincoln Technical Institute and received a certification in Mechanics.

God’s call to salvation was answered in June of 1982, and Mr. Williams became a member of the Trinity Temple Full Gospel, where he worked and served in various departments and attended ministerial classes. He was ordained as a Deacon, and later became a licensed Minister. By the leading of God’s spirit, in 1989, he turned to his home church in Waxahachie, Texas and began serving as an Associate Pastor.

In 1993, he answered God’s call to establish the Word of Life Interdenominational Church, which is still in existence today. In July of 2003, Word of Life Interdenominational Church joined the organization entitled Fellowship Churches United, based in Augusta, Georgia, under the direction of Bishop Gracie Jackson. At this time, Pastor Williams was ordained as a Bishop and appointed as Texas’ Regional Bishop, where he oversees fellow churches in the organization in the state of Texas.

Bishop Williams is currently an entrepreneur and continues to serve as the head Pastor of Word of Life Interdenominational Church where great things are happening and the works of God are manifested.
