Anyone who has taken significant time to study the character and the ways of God will find that He is a God of excellence. Everything that God does is done correctly and is the best.

This way of excellence is a life that every believer should pursue. At the same time, anyone who pursues a life of excellence must understand the underlying principle in the character of God that derives from excellence- that principle is love.

The Bible said that God is love. It is not by accident that we find in 1 Corinthians a clear teaching about the dynamic spiritual gifts of the Spirit. And, nestled right in between Chapters 12 and 14 is the Love Chapter in 1 Corinthians 13. 

It is my prayer that we as a congregation, and you as an individual, will capture the spirit of excellence.
